The whole idea to start " Figurehead " as a music band,
started right after I split up the group " Sayonara ".
I really didn;t like it to be in a group like that,
everybody totally disagreed with everything I wanted to do
and it was my idea to start this group.
Right after our concert in Bibelot, Dordrecht in ended this,
I wanted to start something on my own.

A few days after this, I read there was a next concert in 3 weeks were I could play,
still had no idea what I wanted to do, but I just signed up...
I decided to cover The Cure ( Figurehead , A Strange Day , Charlotte Sometimes and 100 Years ),
but still had to do everything and I had no idea how ...
( programming drumcomputer, play synth, find out chords to play etc...)
but for some strange reason everything worked out and had everything ready just before the gig.
( I asked my friend's Girlfriend Erica to play bass and we rehearsed only 1 time !!! for 1 hour).

Evening of the Gig.
O, this was the greatest thing ever, even with all the things which went wrong.
When we started, I realise I had programmed the drumcomputer with really
to much Bass.
I think the whole building was trembling of it,
it was so loud and heavy, that I couldn't even hear me sing,
so I was singing, but completly out of tone.
They even gave me a wrong setup on the PA-system,
instead of making my voice darker , heavier and with lots of feedback.
it was setup like Prince when he sings really high....

But it was a great to do .......
